With cooler days and holiday decorations, Balboa Park is a great place for San Diego to warm up to the holiday spirit. Up and down the Prado, around the Spreckles Organ Pavilion, and in the gardens the park is getting dressed up for Christmas.
If you live in America’s Finest City or plan to be visiting this month, be sure to take a few hours and visit Balboa Park. You won’t be sorry.

I loved Balboa Park. So much to do there. Museums, restaurants, walks, trolley ride… Just an all around great place…besides being much warmer than where I am now (NJ)!

I always love going to Christmas on the Prado. The Christmas Markets are really cool and remind us of the ones in Europe. Unfortunately, my wife and I have missed the celebration the last two years. Thanks for sharing your photos.
