Kongo doesn’t really consider himself a street photographer, whatever that is.  But he does like to take pictures on the street.  And Quito, Ecuador is a terrific place to take candid street photos.  These images were taken in early May when Kongo visited Quito as part of his trip to the Galapagos Islands.

The great thing about Quito, and indeed all of South America, is the very expressive faces you encounter as you move about the cities.  From the children to the old people, their faces reveal a different view of the world than what we normally see during our daily lives in America.
