After four magical days in Venice, the monkey’s ship came in and they sailed off into the Ionian Sea. On the last day, Kongo took a guided walking tour through a part of the city he hadn’t seen before.
The monkey could not resist this man preparing to bring his laundry in. Venice apparently has lots of washing machines. Dryers, not so much. They make for colorful photographs.
This enchanting balcony just screamed for a bottle or wine and some Puccini and pasta.
Tomorrow the monkey visits Split, Croatia.
Travel safe. Have fun.
P.S. This blog was actually written several days after leaving Venice while Kongo is relaxing at his hotel in Barcelona. The internet connectivity on the cruise ship didn’t support blogging and uploading pictures so the monkey is just pretending to be doing it in real time. Literary license.
Nice to see the monkey in fine form and having fun!
We’re having a blast!
