Regensberg Cathedral front face in Regensberg, Germany.  This cathedral, dedicated to Saint Peter, was built over the site of a Bishop’s Church dating to 700.  Construction on this cathedral started in 1783 and finished in 1320.  It is built in the high gothic architectural  style. The stone bridge in Regensberg, Germany is the oldest span across the Danube it was built about 1200 AD. Regensberg is a small, medieval city of about 130,000 that escaped destruction and damage during World War II. It is a beautiful town filled with narrow cobblestone streets, churches, and quaint shops.
