The WordPress Weekly Photo Challenge today is PERSPECTIVE. The first photo shows the La Jolla shore yesterday afternoon with blooming flowers in the foreground and crashing waves against the rocks in the background. For the second photo I stood up and zoomed in on the rocks to catch the next wave to come crashing in and the effect makes it seems like the surf is much larger surf than it actually is. After waiting for weeks to have the time and a clear horizon, the monkey finally got his chance for an evening photo shoot at the beach last night. The light was great. The air was warm. A perfect San Diego evening. The following images were some of his favorites.
So, Kongo spent three days helping Mrs. Kongo watch two granddaughters in North Los Angeles and was heading back to San Diego early today when he had a Sugar Shack attack coming off the CA 73 Toll Road. Checking the clock, he realized he had just enough time for a quick stop at the Sugar Shack Cafe in San Clemente.
