Up Close at the San Diego Zoo

Kongo was off to one of his most favorite spots in San Diego today, the world famous San Diego Zoo.  This time he was on a mission.  Try to get as close to the animals as possible.  Here are some of the results.

The San Diego Zoo is open every day of the year, including holidays.  Summer hours are 9 to 9.  An adult one day pass is $42.  Children 3-11 tickets are $32.  There are many specials and discounts available so check the internet before heading for the zoo.  Kongo always buys an annual Zoofari Pass and skips the lines and saves a lot of money.  The San  Diego Zoo is located in Balboa Park near downtown San Diego.
