    1. Hi, Jo. I was actually standing in one of the red, open air tour buses that park in the Opera square and I could look down at the umbrellas at the Cafe de la Paix. Our hotel was just around the corner on Rue de la Paix and the Paris Opera House and Metro were over my left shoulder. Are you familiar with that part of Paris?

      1. Well, the next time you’re in Paris I recommend taking one of the hop on/hop off tour buses. It’s a great way to get an overview of the city, you get some unique photography perspectives, and you can think about the areas you want to go back and explore later.
