If you’re of a certain age and watch TV you have seen plenty of commercials about river cruising. Long boats ply navigable rivers all over Europe. Some companies are planning cruise itineraries on U.S. rivers too. Like all travel options there are pros and cons. This post examines Kongo’s take on river cruising in Europe.
After some heavy showers, the monkey caught this image from his French balcony at his hotel in Jacksonville, Florida. The blue bridge is the historic Main Street Bridge that spans the St. John’s River. The hardest part of taking this photo was that the camera kept fogging up. The waterfront in Jacksonville, Florida is a beautiful on a Sunday morning without thunderstorms. Kongo has visited this area twice before and was chased underneath bridges because of nearby lightening bolts and thundering rain. Not yesterday. Finally a clear day.
