Weekly Photo Challenge: Horizon

_MG_3629

The Weekly Photo Challenge this week is Horizon — that special place in space where the earth meets the sky in the distance.  The horizon image above was taken just south of Scripps Pier in La Jolla, California shortly after sunset.  See more horizons at the WordPress Photo Challenge page.

    • Thanks, Jo…but actually didn’t edit much. This was a 30-second exposure after sunset with a neutral gray filter. I should have used a variable density filter because the sky is fairly washed out. I thought about photoshopping a darker sky but I’m not very good at photoshop. I use Lightroom to do most processing but typically just do a bit of exposure adjustment because I shoot in raw and tweak the contrast a bit.
