Today he caught the really great first day of Spring.  It was glorious to see the trees starting to bud and bloom and daffodils crop up through the brown leaves of winter.  People were out and about and enjoying the sunshine and clear skies. Kongo takes up another Photo Challenge and throws his monkey hat into the ring with Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge. He’s admired many of the entries from blogs he follows over the past several weeks and final decided to get in on the fun. Central Park Sunday

Yesterday Kongo took advantage of an absolutely glorious October Sunday to spend a few hours in New York’s Central Park.  The weather was warm but every once in a while a cool, chilling breeze chased along the paths, reminding everyone of colder days ahead.  Maple trees were particularly spectacular.  Sycamores had already lost most of their leaves.  A huge Breast Cancer Walk added plenty of activities and noise with a band, banging drums, and splashes of pink everywhere.
