Metal and Harleys. They go together well, just like this couple out for a Friday evening spin around the square in Santa Fe, NM. See more metal themes at Ailsa’s Where’s My Backpack Blog. Advertisements
Ailsa’s Theme this week is GLOW. Above is the fountain at Balboa Park in San Diego which seems to glow in the late afternoon sun. More Glow pictures below:
Ailsa’s theme this week is statues. Kongo has observed that statues are like photo magnets. People with cameras can’t avoid snapping a picture. Kongo is the same way and the images in this post are some of his snaps during recent travels. The wooden Indian statue above was captured in Ybor City, Florida.
Cee’s Fun Phogo Challenge this week is TWO COLORS where the challenge is only to have two colors in the image. These are Kongo’s attempts. Of course, there are always shades within every color. This was indeed a fun challenge. See more at Cee’s challenge website.
This week’s Word Press Photo Challenge is “threes.” To meet this challenge Kongo submits this image of three strings of red chili peppers hung from a house in Santa Fe. In New Mexico, strings of red chili peppers are a symbol of hospitality.
This week Ailsa’s Travel Theme is “Work.” Kongo chose this happy guy directing traffic around street repairs near Canyon Road in Santa Fe, New Mexico for his entry to the work theme. See more “work” images at Ailsa’s Where’s My Backpack blog.
This week Ailsa’s Travel Theme is yellow. This is one of Kongo’s favorite colors so he went monkey wild going through his library to pick out favorite yellow-themed photos. See more yellow at Ailsa’s Where’s My Backpack.
